I was employed by a digital marketing company to design and develop this website for a non profit animal rescue organization.
They already had a Dreamweaver website so it needed a redesign. I used the Divi theme and custom CSS.

I was asked to develop a website with a quick turn around of a few days. There was no previously existing website.
I asked questions to find out which features were wanted, the page structure, and the type of design. I then looked through WordPress themes till I found a few that matched the project. Once one of them was decided upon, I created the pages, located relevant pictures and developed the site.
I ran into a few issues when customizing the theme, but I overcame these with the help of the theme’s documentation and some custom CSS.
The site was finished within a couple of days, and I then worked on SEO (optimizing it for search engines). The project was finished within a week or two, and met the objectives. It clearly presents the information needed, and turns up high in search engine ranking for the relevant search terms.

For this piano business I made a simple website with clear information. I also carried out some basic SEO so that it could be used for marketing.
The online presence of this business is now all the marketing that is needed to bring in new clients.

For this project I installed WordPress locally, created a child theme, and worked off a Photoshop design.
I created custom queries, custom post types, a custom archive page, custom fields, custom page templates, and styled plugins to match the design.
I transferred the site from local to staging and then to live, using Git, and carried out QA. Since it was a project, it is no longer live – but you can view my code on GitHub.
